A number is not a plan.
Most finance websites answer the question “how much?” We answer a different question: “what do I actually do next?” MyPlanningDesk exists to turn your financial goals into step-by-step plans you can print, follow, and tick off — week by week.
Why we built this
The internet has thousands of financial calculators. Enter your numbers, get a figure, feel briefly informed, close the tab, change nothing. That cycle repeats every January and every financial crisis, and it helps no one.
MyPlanningDesk was built on a simple belief: the gap between knowing a number and changing a financial behaviour is a plan. Not a spreadsheet. Not a dashboard. A clear, personalised, printable plan that tells you exactly what to do this month, next month, and the month after.
Every tool on this site produces a plan — a roadmap, a checklist, a schedule, a framework you can stick on the fridge and actually follow. If the output is just a number, it does not belong here.
Our philosophy
Who this is for
MyPlanningDesk is built for anyone who wants to organise, structure, and improve their financial life through planning rather than borrowing. That includes households following interest-free financial principles, families trying to stay ahead of irregular expenses, and anyone who has ever been surprised by a bill they should have seen coming.
Our tools are deliberately simple, deliberately free, and deliberately interest-free — because good financial planning should be accessible to everyone, not just those with a financial advisor or a premium app subscription.
